This is an Optical Probe with an RS232 electrical interface and compliant with IEC62056-21 standard. It is especially used to read electricity meters closely with laptop computers and to remotely read with modem which meters without electrical communication port. Our optical probes contain N36 or N38 magnets and are very well integrated with the meters. You can also use our optical probes with our GSM / GPRS modems and Serial Device Servers. Your optical probes are powered via the RS232 port on your computer or Modems. Does not require an external power supply. With our quality sensors and amplifiers, you can read almost all meters of the relevant standard.

It is an optical probe with RS232 electrical interface, which can be used in electricity meters conforming to IEC62056-21 standard. Aproximetely 3 mt. cable length. Optical Probe equipped with a female DSUB 9 connector and is connected to the Optical Probe with a product-specific and robust cable. It is especially used to read electricity meters closely with laptop computers and to remotely read with modem which meters without electrical communication port. Our optical probes contain N36 or N38 magnets and are very well integrated with the meters.
You can also use our optical probes with our GSM / GPRS modems and Serial Device Servers. You can follow the data transmission with 2 leds on our optical probes. They are powered via the RS232 port on your computer or Modems. Does not require an external supply. With our quality sensors and amplifiers, you can read almost all electricity meters of the relevant standard.
